AURELIUS Finance Company continued its growth trajectory throughout Q3 2023, achieving important milestones on the business as well as on the team side. Our total lending portfolio has crossed the GBP 100m threshold and we are getting ready for our next chapter: fundraising for AFC. To this end, Helene Schutrumpf has joined AURELIUS as Director of Fundraising and Investor Relations and will be supporting AFC on its ongoing growth journey.

• First Irish deal completed for a manufacturer, distributor, and retailer of consumer goods, with a lending volume of GBP 20m

GROWING THE TEAM: HELENE SCHUTRUMPF SUPPORTS FUNDRAISING AT AFC

AURELIUS recently appointed Helene Schutrumpf as its Director of Fundraising and Investor Relations. Helene is based in the UK and will support AFC through the firm’s planned, first-ever fundraising exercise.

Helene started her career as a proprietary trader at Merrill Lynch and has spent the last 12 years as a placement agent, raising capital globally for private equity, private credit and real estate funds. She has a degree in Economics from Yale University.

“In the current uncertain market environment, we’re seeing the appeal of having physical assets as security for loans. We enjoy the entrepreneurial opportunity of being an early mover in this underserved space,” said Helene.

Over the coming months, AFC will continue to grow the team and are on the lookout for exceptional talent.
